Merrilyn's work regularly features in publications in Australia, U.S.A. and New Zealand.

Merrilyn has an artistic heritage and a strong passion for hand work which resulted in her opening her 1st needlework shop in 1978.

This was the starting point for a long creative and rewarding journey with needle, threads and fabric........

Merrilyn's list of achievements are long and varied, including:

Opened and owned specialty Needlework and Craft shops in 3 cities in Tasmania from 1978 to 1993.

Introduced counted cross stitch, patchwork, silk embridery and lace making to Tasmania.

Founder and inaugural State President of Lace Guild of Tasmania.

With numerous Magazine Articles, TV and Radio appearances Merrilyn somehow finds time to teach her craft on Needlework Cruises, Seminars and at various Guilds and Retail stores Australia wide.
